Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are introducing various ways to keep things fresh in The Division 2, and one way to refresh a shooter game are new weapons. We have compiled a list of returning, new and reworked weapons for convenience.
Some weapons are returning from The Division, as we mentioned, but they have all been reworked in one way or another. We will keep updating the weapon list in the future, and add notes on the more interesting changes.
New additions:
- Sidearms:
Glock 18c - A new addition in The Division 2. Probably the biggest surprise is that it didn't appear in The Division.
Desert Eagle - Currently unconfirmed, reportedly spotted in a YouTube video.
- Shotguns:
SPAS-12
- Battle Rifles:
Lever Action rifle
- Assault Rifles:
- FN F2000 - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans rejoice
M16 - Also mentioned in the returning rifles as an AR-15, but an actual M16 didn't make an appearance in The Division, so it warranted a mention among the new weapons
- Mosin Nagant - a World War 2 classic, a fan favourite in shooter games
DSR-1
Returning weapons:
-Sidearms:
Beretta M9
Beretta M93R
- Shotguns:
- AA12 / ACS12 - This used to be an exotic weapon, The Showstopper, in The Division
- SMGs:
- Marksman Rifles:
- Light Machine Guns:
RPK-74
Bonus weapon that may or may not appear: Compound Bow. It was spotted on hostile NPCs, but no one managed to loot one yet. Survivalist players currently have access to a Crossbow, but it remains to be seen whether we will get to play with Compound Bows as well.
